Together, we are facing a truly unprecedented situation.  The global coronavirus pandemic is affecting all our families, our businesses, our community, and our way of life.  During this time, we wanted to reach out and update you on how we’re approaching the situation at Glendora Gardens.

First and foremost, our hearts go out to anyone who’s been impacted by the virus, either directly or indirectly.  Our thoughts are especially with those who are sick, to whom we send our heartfelt wishes for a full recovery.  We’d also like to express our deepest gratitute for our selfless healthcare workers who are on the front lines working tirelessly to care for people in need.

Second, at Glendora Gardens we’re focused on the health and safety of our customers, employees and community.

While the world waits for answers, we encourage you to get outdoors for some fresh air and sunshine.  Going outside will be important during these stretches of self-quarantine, and luckily, social distancing doesn’t have to mean foregoing time in nature.  Whether it’s going for a family walk, exploring our gardens, or working in your own gardens at home, being outdoors is an easy way to stay healthy both physically and mentally.

As of today, we plan to remain open.  Nurseries like Glendora Gardens that provide access to a sustainable food source are deemed vital services.  Not only that, by staying open we also aim to provide our community some peace, and give families a place of wellness and escape in these trying times.  With over four acres of beautiful grounds, we consider the nursery a safe place to be outdoors and give others reasonable space.  We only ask that you please help us ensure everyone’s safety by adhering to social distancing guidelines.

Around the garden, we have increased cleaning and sanitation practices of our common public areas and facilities, and are instructing employees to stay home if they or their family members are not feeling well.  As long as we are here, we will be working hard to support your needs onsite, take orders via phone or email, and continue deliveries.

We want our grounds and the plants we grow to continue to bring a smile to your face through this challenging period.  Please join us in encouraging our families, friends, neighbors and communities to plant a Victory Garden full of vegetables, fruits, berries and herbs.  After all, to plant a garden is to believe in tomorrow.

We’re here for you and wishing you well.
